STV NewsA man has been pronounced dead after falling unwell near a supermarket in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the Waterfront Broadway area, near to the Morrisons supermarket, at around 2.35pm on Friday.
A 54-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are no suspicious circumstances regarding the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.35pm on Friday, September 26, 2025, officers were called to the Waterfront Broadway area of Edinburgh following a person having taken unwell.
“Emergency services attended and the 54-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.”
