iStockA man and woman have been charged after an alleged disturbance involving a weapon in Grangemouth.
Emergency services were called to Westcliffe Court at around 4.40pm on Monday following reports of a man causing a disturbance.
There were no reported injuries following the incident.
Officers have arrested and charged a man, aged 33, and a 29-year-old woman.
The pair are due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.40pm on Monday, June 22, 2026, police were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance in Westcliffe Court, Grangemouth.
“Officers attended, and a 33-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“Both are due to appear before Falkirk Sheriff Court on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
“There were no reported injuries.”
