A man and woman have appeared in court accused of murdering a man in a double shooting outside an Edinburgh pub on Hogmanay.
Marc Webley, 38, was shot outside the Anchor Inn pub on Granton Crescent in Edinburgh on December 31, along with a second man.
Both were taken to hospital where Webley was pronounced dead a short time later.
Grant Hunter, 32, and Emma McVie, 25, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday charged with murder.
The pair were also charged with the assault and attempted murder of the second man.
Both made no plea and were remanded in custody.
Hunter and McVie are due to appear in court again within the next eight days.
On Monday a third person, a 33-year-old woman, was arrest and charged in connection with the Edinburgh incident.
In videos posted just hours before his death on social media, Webley urged his enemies to “come and get it”.
He was previously convicted of taking part in a gangland shooting in 2005 and spent 11 years behind bars.
Webley was also cleared of two attempted murders in the capital back in 2022.
