Man appears in court charged with sexually assaulting two women in Falkirk

A man has appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting two women in Falkirk.

Emergency services were alerted to the first attack in the Kerse Lane area at around 3am on Sunday.

Whilst carrying out enquiries into the sexual assault, detectives were made aware of a second attack which occurred half an hour later at Bellsmeadow Road.

Muhammad Sheikhi appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court, charged with two counts of sexual assault.

The 22-year-old, whose general address was given as Falkirk, made no plea. He has been remanded in custody and is due back in court within the next eight days.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3am on Sunday, November 30, 2025, we received a report of a woman being sexually assaulted in the Kerse Lane area of Falkirk.

“A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a sexual offence and he appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, December 1, 2025.

“While carrying out enquiries, officers received information relating to a second sexual offence involving another woman, which occurred around 3.30am on Sunday, November 30, at Bellsmeadow Road.

“The 22-year-old man was then further arrested and charged in connection with this and appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.”
