Man arrested after early morning disturbance in town

A man was arrested after an early morning disturbance in Midlothian.

Emergency services were called to the Old School Crescent area of Maryfield, Dalkeith, at around 5.20am on Saturday.

A 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.

Enquiries remain ongoing at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.20am on Saturday, December 9, officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the Old School Crescent area of Maryfield, Dalkeith.

“A 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
