Man arrested after sexual assault in early hours

A man has been arrested after a sexual assault in Edinburgh.

The incident happened at around 2am in the Brunswick Road area of Leith, on Saturday, March 14.

A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection. He has since been released pending further enquiries.

Sergeant Paul Gray said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.

“If you think you can help, please contact us on 101 quoting incident number 1631 of March 14, 2026.”
