iStockA man has been charged following a serious assault in East Lothian.
Emergency services were called to reports of a serious assault on Market Street in Haddington at around 9.50am on Sunday.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.
