iStockA man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Fife.
Police were called to High Street in Leslie around 10.50am on Wednesday after a 28-year-old man was found seriously injured.
Emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment.
A 27-year-old man was later arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
