A man has been arrested after a schoolboy died after being struck by a bin lorry while riding his bike in Edinburgh.
Thomas Wong was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash involving the bin lorry on Whitehouse Road on the morning of March 1.
The Cramond Primary School pupil had been riding his bike at the time of the incident.
Thomas’s family described him as the “perfect son” and “the best little brother to his older sister”.
Police confirmed on Wednesday that they have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with the crash.
A spokesperson said: “Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are continuing.”
