A man has been charged after a two-car crash in Aberlady.

Police were called to High Street around 10.20pm on Tuesday following the collision, which caused one vehicle to crash into a property.

Fire and ambulance crews also attended the scene. No injuries were reported.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 10.20pm on Tuesday, July 21, we were called to a report of a crash involving two vehicles in the High Street area of Aberlady. One of the vehicles collided with a property.

“Emergency services attended, and there were no reported injuries.

“The driver of one of the vehicles was charged in connection with a road traffic offence and will be reported to the procurator fiscal.”
