A man has appeared in court charged with housebreaking after high-value thefts from distilleries in Perthshire.
The first theft was reported on April 6 at a distillery near the village of Blackford.
A second theft then took place on April 12 at a distillery in Crieff.
Officers acting under warrant searched a property on Kelvin Gardens in Hamilton on May 5 as part of the investigation, and a significant quantity of alcohol was recovered.
A 35-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were subsequently arrested and charged in connection.
Georgian Sipanu appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on May 6, where he faced three charges of theft by housebreaking.
The 35-year-old from Hamilton made no plea and was granted bail.
