iStockA man has been charged after a police chase ended with a vehicle crashing in a residential area of Edinburgh.
Police launched a pursuit of a vehicle after it failed to stop on Captains Road at around 12pm on Tuesday.
The vehicle involved subsequently crashed on The Wisp. There were no reports of injuries.
A man, 27, has been arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
