A man has been arrested in connection with a disturbance after armed police were dispatched to a home on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the Watson Street area of Cowdenbeath following reports of concern for a person at around 12.20pm.
The incident was contained with no injuries or risk to the public. An image of the scene shows officers with shields breaking through the property’s door.
A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with a disturbance. He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.20pm on Friday, December 27, 2024, police received a report of concern for a person in the Watson Street area of Cowdenbeath.
“Emergency services attended and the incident was contained with no injuries or risk to the wider public.
“A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance and is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, December 30, 2024.”
