A 37-year-old man has been charged over the death of a 33-year-old woman whose body was found on New Year’s Day at a house in East Lothian.
Emergency services were called to a disturbance at a property in Craigleith Avenue, North Berwick, at around 8.20am on January 1 after receiving a report of concern for a person.
When they arrived, a 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland later identified the woman as Keotshepile Naso Isaacs, known to her friends as “Naso”.
At the time Police Scotland said a 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death and on Friday they confirmed he has now been charged.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.
