iStockA man has been charged in connection with fires set at three properties in Edinburgh on the same day more than eight months ago.
The arrest brings the total during Operation Portaledge, an investigation into ongoing gang war violence across Scotland, to 63.
The 31-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with three fireraisings on Niddrie Marischal Crescent, Pitcairn Grove and Prestonfield Crescent on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday, December 24.
