A man has been charged with attempted murder after a 23-year-old was allegedly shot in Edinburgh.
Armed police were called to the Hailesland Gardens area following reports of a firearm being discharged around 3.40pm on July 24.
A 23-year-old man attended the hospital with a serious injury to his arm following the incident.
Police have now confirmed that a 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with attempted murder and possession of a gun.
He is due to appear in court on Friday.
