A man has died three days after a crash in Fife that left four people in hospital.
Emergency services were called to the B939 in Strathkinnes around 1.15pm on Saturday following reports of the two-car crash.
A 38-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital with serious injuries alongside a 64-year-old woman, while two other women aged 53 and 17 were taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
The man was pronounced dead in hospital on Wednesday.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out before reopening on Sunday morning.
Inspector James Henry, of Fife Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
