Trains are facing delays after a man was found unresponsive on board in Inverkeithing.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at around 12.34pm on Friday and attended the train station.
Images from the scene show a significant police and paramedic presence in the area.
The man has been taken to hospital for treatment.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Inverkeithing railway station at 12.34pm today, July 24, following reports of an unresponsive person on a train.
“Officers attended, alongside paramedics, and the man was taken to hospital.”
