A man has been taken to hospital after a “stabbing” in South Queensferry.
Emergency services were alerted following an altercation between two men in Moubray Grove at around 4pm on Saturday.
A 57-year-old man sustained serious conditions and was taken to hospital. Staff described his condition as stable.
Officers confirmed a 54-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 4pm on Saturday, November 1, 2025 a 57-year-old man sustained serious injuries following an altercation with another man in Moubray Grove, South Queensferry.
“He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment. Hospital staff describe his condition as stable.
“A 54-year-old man has been arrested and charged. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, November 3, 2025. Enquiries are ongoing.”
