A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car outside a shopping centre in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to Westside Plaza Shopping Centre in Wester Hailes, at around 9:30am on Thursday.
A 45-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
Police confirmed that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers were called around 9.30am on Thursday April 14 2022, to a report of a man being hit by a car at Westside Plaza Shopping Centre in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh.
“The 45-year-old’s been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
