Police are hunting three masked men who forced their way into a supermarket and stole cash.
The raid at Morrisons on Mart Street in Hawick happened at around 1.30am on Sunday.
The men were dressed in black clothing and black gloves, and had their heads and faces covered with balaclavas.
Inspector Stephen Granger with Police Scotland said: “We are appealing to members of the public who may have information in relation to the break in at Morrisons supermarket (Sunday, 8 March, 2020).
“After stealing a quantity of cash, the men left the store and headed in the direction of Earl Street where they got in a dark coloured hatchback vehicle and drove off.
“Although this happened during the night, we are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the area.
“I would also ask those who have any dashcam footage that will assist with our investigation to get in contact with officers.”
