A family reported missing from South Wales have been found safe and well in Scotland.
Police said on Thursday that Leanca and Marcel Rostas were last seen with their one-year-old child at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff at around midnight on Wednesday, February 16.
Officers from Police Scotland assisted South Wales Police in their enquiries, with searches focused on the Glenrothes area in Fife.
Police Scotland said in a statement issued on Friday morning: “Police Scotland can confirm a family from South Wales, Matie Rostas, one, along with parents Leanca, 34, and Marcel, 35, who were reported missing, have been traced safe and well in Scotland.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier appeal for information.”
