A pensioner is to stand trial charged with historical crimes against four boys at a private school.
David McLeish faces the accusations which span between 1981 and 1984 at the secondary in Edinburgh.
The now 67-year-old is first said to have indecently assaulted a pupil on various occasions.
This includes claims that McLeish invited the boy into staff accommodation, gave him alcohol and made sexual remarks.
It is alleged that he inappropriately touched the child.
McLeish, who stays on the Isle of Skye, faces three separate breach of the peace charges in connection with the other pupils.
One features an allegation that he got a boy to undress in his presence and made him try on other clothes as he watched.
McLeish is said to have allowed another to smoke and drink alcohol in staff premises at school. He also allegedly showed him pornographic magazines.
It is claimed he invited the final boy into a bedroom while he was partially clothed.
A hearing occurred at the High Court in Glasgow.
McLeish’s lawyer, Richard Goddard, pleaded not guilty on his behalf.
The KC told the court: “The defence are ready for trial.”
Mr Goddard stated he was “pretty sure” the case would be completed within five days.
Lord Renucci went on to fix a trial which is scheduled to begin in June 2026 in Edinburgh.
A further hearing will take place before then in October this year.
