One person has been injured following an incident at a Fife dockyard on Sunday.

Police, fire crews, ambulance and the coastguard were called to Methill docks at around 6.52pm .

Scottish Fire and Rescue dispatched two appliances and specialist resources to the scene. Anstruther RNLI was tasked by HM Coastguard at 7.12pm but was stood down shortly after

One person was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service. Fire crews left the scene at around 8pm

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.52pm on Sunday, May 11, to an incident at Methil Docks, Methil, Fife.

“Operations Control mobilised two appliances and specialist resources to the scene to assist emergency service partners.

“One casualty was taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“Crews left the scene at around 8pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
