A 14-year-old girl from Fife who had been reported missing has been found.

Police issued an appeal for information after Sinead Venables was reported missing on Monday, January 17 in the Culross area of Fife.

Officers confirmed on Monday night that she had been found safe and well.

The force thanked the public for their assistance in tracing the girl.

A police spokesperson said: “Police in Fife are happy to report that Sinead Venables, reported missing earlier today, has been traced safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal.”
