Emergency services were called to a reservoir near Edinburgh after a woman fell through the ice.
Police were called to reports of a woman in danger on the ice at Threipmuir reservoir near Pentland Hills around 2.50pm on Sunday.
The woman had fallen through but managed to get to safety on her own after emergency services attended.
She did not need medical treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.50pm on Sunday, January 4, we received a report of a woman in danger on ice at Threipmuir reservoir near Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended, and although the woman fell through the ice, she managed to get to safety on her own.
“She did not need medical treatment.”
