Police have cordoned off a path near a footbridge in Edinburgh amid enquiries into an ongoing investigation.
A significant police presence has been reported on Roseburn path on Friday morning, with a large part of Roseburn Terrace through to Raveltson Dykes sealed off.
Police say they are carrying out enquiries into an ongoing investigation after the path was reportedly sealed off on Thursday evening.
A police dog unit was spotted near the scene.
Members of the public are being urged to use alternative routes.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers are carrying out enquiries in the Roseburn Path area of Edinburgh in connection with an ongoing investigation.
“There is no threat to the wider public.”
