A hunt has been launched for two men wearing blue jackets and masks following two housebreakings in West Lothian last week.
The first incident is believed to have taken place between midday on Thursday, April 3, and 12.50pm on Friday, April 4, at a property on McBeath Avenue in Polbeth.
The second break‑in happened at around 4pm on Friday, April 4, at a home on Blairhill Crescent in Livingston.
Police are keen to trace two men in connection with the incidents.
The first man is described as white, around six foot tall and was wearing a blue waterproof jacket with black lining in the hood and black trousers. He was also wearing a blue mask that matched the jacket.
The second man is described as white and wearing the same jacket and mask as the first man and was in possession of a rucksack. He may also have been wearing gloves.
Detective Constable Michael Fairbanks said: “We are continuing our investigations into these two housebreakings and are treating them as linked.
“I would ask anyone who may have seen anything unusual, or who may have captured CCTV or dashcam footage that would assist us, to get in touch.”
