Police are investigating fires at two properties on the same day in Edinburgh

Possible fire damage was reported at a property on Niddrie Marischal Crescent on Thursday.

It comes just weeks after a firearm was discharged at a property on the same street, which police are treating as linked to an ongoing feud between two gangs.

A second case of possible fire damage was reported at a property on Prestonfield Crescent on the same day.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Enquiries into the incidents are ongoing.”
