A police officer has been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in East Lothian.
The incident took place on High Street in Haddington at around 3.55pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services attended, and the male officer was taken to the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh for treatment to his injuries.
The road has been closed to allow for investigations to take place and diversions are in place.
Police Scotland confirmed the incident and said: “Our enquiries are at a very early stage.”
