STV NewsTwo people have been charged in connection with a double shooting outside a pub in Edinburgh on Hogmanay that left one man dead.
Emergency services were called to the Anchor Inn pub on Granton Crescent on December 31, at around 11.50pm, after a firearm seriously injured two men.
Both men, aged 38 and 39, were taken to hospital, where the 38-year-old man was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 32-year-old man and 25-year-old woman were previously arrested and have now been charged in connection with the incident.
Both are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
