Residents were forced to evacuate their homes after a fire broke out at a house in Fife.
Firefighters were called to the property in Watters Crescent, Lochgelly, at around 2.30pm on Thursday.
Crews fought to tackle the blaze as neighbours living in surrounding homes were brought to safety.
Police said there were no reports of any injuries and the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson said: “Officers were called around 2.30pm on Thursday, February 3 to a report of a fire at an address in Watters Crescent, in the Lochgelly area of Fife.
“Emergency services attended and the surrounding buildings were evacuated.
“The blaze was extinguished around 3.40pm.
“There are no reports of any injuries and the fire is not being treated as suspicious.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.25pm on Thursday, February 3 to reports of smoke issuing from a dwelling on Watters Crescent, Lochgelly.
“Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances and one height vehicle to the scene and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a roof of two storey property.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
