A Scottish doctor accused of sexually harassing a group of students is set to appear at a tribunal.
Dr Adam Chesters is to appear before the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) on December 18 following allegations of misconduct.
The tribunal will examine allegations that between June 2022 to March 2024, Dr Chesters’ conduct towards four medical students constituted “an abuse of his more senior position”.
It is further alleged that his behaviour was “sexually motivated” and constituted “sexual harassment” in relation to three of the students and constituted harassment in relation to the fourth.
The doctor operated in Cambridge and Edinburgh.
The MPTS runs hearings that make independent decisions about whether doctors, physician associates (PAs) and anaesthesia associates (AAs) are fit to practise in the UK.
The hearing is set to end on January 23 next year.
