The teenager was reported missing after failing to turn up for school on Thursday.

A 13-year-old girl who never turned up for school on Thursday has been found safe.

The teenager from Edinburgh had been last seen at around 8.30am.

The alarm was raised after she never turned up for classes but police have now confirmed that she has been traced safe and well.
