Police ScotlandPolice are appealing for help to trace a missing 85-year-old man from East Lothian who was last seen boarding a bus.
Neil Martin, who has been reported missing from Tranent, was last seen boarding a bus on High Street around noon on Monday.
He is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, medium build, glasses, grey hair and a grey moustache.
When last seen, he was wearing jeans, white trainers and a grey cardigan.
Inspector Dave Reilly said: “We’re concerned for Neil’s welfare and are looking to trace him as quickly as possible to ensure he’s safe and well.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing but I’m appealing for help from the public to trace his movements. Have you seen anyone matching his description?
“Neil was travelling to Musselburgh but may have continued into the Edinburgh area. Any information could help us find him.”
