A section of the M9 was shut down after a “serious” road crash on Sunday.
Police, fire crews, and ambulance units were sent to the motorway between junctions 8 and 9 at around 11.50am.
The M9 was closed southbound and local diversions were put in place.
Drivers are urged to use alternative routes at this time.
Posting on Facebook, Police Scotland Forth Valley wrote: “The M9 is closed southbound between junctions 8 and 9 due to a serious road crash.
“Emergency services were called to the scene around 11.50am.
“Local diversions are in place.”
