A suspect has been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed in Fife.
Emergency services were called to St Clair Street in Kirkcaldy at around 8pm on Monday following the incident.
A 39-year-old man was taken to Victoria Hospital before being transferred to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attack. An investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8pm on Monday, November 24, police received a report of a man with serious injuries in St Clair Street, Kirkaldy.
Fife Jammer Locations“Emergency services attended, and the 39-year-old man was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy by ambulance and later transferred to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
“A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident, and enquiries are ongoing.”
