Police arrested a suspect after reports of a man allegedly carrying a bladed weapon in Fife.
Emergency services were called to the Caithness Place area of Kirkcaldy at around 3.30pm on Wednesday following reports of the incident.
No medical treatment was needed at the scene.
A 46-year-old man was arrested in connection and an investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, we were called to a report of a man in possession of a bladed weapon in the Caithness Place area of Kirkcaldy.
“Officers attended, and no medical treatment was required.
“A 46-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident, and enquiries are ongoing.”
