A suspect has been charged after a man was found seriously injured in an Edinburgh street.
A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to head, leg and arm injuries after being in discovered in Wester Drylaw Drive at around 3.45pm on Tuesday, March 9.
On Tuesday, Police Scotland confirmed a 38-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
In the meantime, investigating officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw a black Dacia Sandero in the vicinity of Wester Drylaw Drive on the afternoon of March 9.
Police also want to track down the occupants of a small white Volkswagen Caddy van that was seen in the area at the time.
Detective inspector Bob Campbell added: “I also urge motorists with dashcams to check their footage as they may have captured images which would assist our investigation.
“There will be additional patrols in the area and local residents are encouraged to speak to these officers if they have any information or concerns as it is vital that we trace everyone responsible.”
