A man has been charged in connection with the attempted murder of a 41-year-old found seriously injured in Falkirk.
At around 5am on Sunday, police received a report of a man with serious injuries within the close of a block of flats in Kersiebank Avenue in Grangemouth.
The man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where his condition is described as serious.
On Tuesday, police confirmed a 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has since been charged.
He is due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
