Google MapsA teenager has been charged after a man allegedly suffered “serious facial injuries” in an assault at a playground in the Borders.
A 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with the assault of a 72-year-old man in Innerleithen at a playground at the end of Hall Street in the town.
The alleged assault took place around 7pm on Saturday, June 8 with the man treated in hospital for “serious facial injuries”.
The teenager will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
