A teenager is fighting for his life, and two others are in a serious condition after a single car crash in Edinburgh.

Three men, all 18, were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh after a blue Renault Windat crashed at Dalmahoy Road, near to its junction with Addiston Farm Road, at 4.20am on Sunday.

One passenger’s condition is described as critical and the other two conditions are described as serious.

Sergeant Grant Hastie said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this serious crash.

“We are urging any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. If you were in the area around the time and saw anything that may be relevant, please contact us.

“In addition, anyone with dash-cam footage is asked to get in touch.”
