Police are investigating after a teenage boy was injured in a dog attack in Glenrothes.
The 18-year-old was on Cadham Road around 11.40pm on December 8 when he was attacked.
He was taken to hospital for injuries not believed to be serious.
A 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with a separate matter and taken to hospital for assessment. A woman was also taken to hospital to be checked.
The dog was removed, and officers are liaising with the dog warden.
Police say they are following a positive line of inquiry.
