A teenage boy has been badly hurt after being struck by a car in West Lothian.
The 15-year-old was hit by a blue Audi A3 on Station Road, Armadale, around 9.40pm on Sunday.
He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
The road was closed for around six hours as police carried out an investigation into the incident.
Sergeant Jill Kirkpatrick said: “I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who was driving on the road with dashcam footage to please get in contact with police.”
