A teenager has been taken to hospital after being reportedly stabbed in Livingston.

It is understood the 15-year-old suffered superficial injuries following the assault on Ogilvie Way around 5.20pm on Thursday.

He was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh for treatment following the attack.

Police enquires are ongoing following the incident.
