A schoolgirl reported missing from Fife has been found safe after an urgent search was launched.
June Gardner, 14, was last seen on Tuesday in the Clarimalt Drive area of Kirkcaldy before being reported missing to police.
Officers launched a search of the local area with the public urged to be vigilant in the areas of Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and Leven.
On Thursday, police confirmed the teen had been found.
A spokesperson said: “June Gardner, 14, who had been reported missing from Kirkcaldy has been traced safe and well.
“Thanks to everyone who shared our appeals.”
