An 18-year-old has been charged in connection with attempted murder after a teenager was seriously injured at a park in Fife.
Emergency services took a 16-year-old boy to Victoria Hospital for treatment following the incident in Ravenscraig Park, Kirkcaldy, on Friday, April 25.
Officers confirmed that an investigation was launched on Tuesday and an 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
A 14-year-old boy has been charged with assault in connection with the incident.
The 18-year-old will appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Police are continuing to carry out enquiries at this time.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
