A teenager has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Fife.
The 16-year-old has been charged over the incident that took place on Castle Street, Tayport, on Friday evening at 7.30pm.
No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called around 7.30pm on Friday, 18 February, 2022 following the report of an armed robbery at a premises on Castle Street, Tayport.
“Officers attended and there were no injuries.
“A 16-year-old man that has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, 21 February, 2022.”
