Three people have been arrested in connection with the “attempted murder” of a man in West Lothian.
Officers said a 43-year-old man was found with serious injuries after police responded to reports of an assault in Clement Rise in Livingston on Sunday, July 7.
The man remains in hospital, police said.
Two men, both aged 48 and a woman, aged 44, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson: “Two men, both aged 48, and a 44-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with an attempted murder which happened in Clement Rise, Livingston, on July 7, 2024.
“A 43-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
