Three taken to hospital after crash on Fife road

Emergency crews were called to the scene at around 12.45am, after a crash left two men seriously injured and a third with minor injuries.

Three men are injured following a car crash in Fife.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the A915 near Upper Largo at around 12.45am on Sunday, September 14. The collision involved a black Volkswagen Golf.

The driver, a 25-year-old man, and a 23-year-old male passenger were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment to serious injuries.

Another passenger, a 19-year-old man, was taken to Victoria Hospital with minor injuries and later discharged.

The road remains closed while investigations are carried out.

Sergeant Mike Thomson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash.

“I am asking any drivers who were driving on that part of the A915 or anyone in the area at the time to please get in touch with any information.

“Similarly, anyone with dashcam footage which may have captured what happened is urged to contact us.”

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 0163 of September 14.
